Hendrix in Britain | January 2011
September 18th commemorated the 40th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s untimely death. It also gave rise to many international events paying homage to one of music’s most inspirational legends of all time. The Handel House Museum in London recently curated "Hendrix in Britain" which featured several of Barrie’s images taken of Jimi in his flat which was on site some almost 40 years ago. Simultaneously, London’s Cumberland Hotel has dedicated a specially designed suite to Jimi Hendrix and some of Barrie’s mural-sized portraits of Jimi adorn the lobby walls and will remain on view for the next few months. READ MORE.

Jimmy Page Photographic Autobiography | January 2011
Genesis Publications recently released the limited edition Jimmy Page book to which Barrie has also contributed. The book sold old before it was even published but you can check out the book and possibly add your name to a waiting list to purchase a copy of this very unique and very rare collectible book if they decide to print another edition. Gail Buckland’s "Who Shot Rock" | January 2011
Hopefully you will be able to catch up with Gail Buckland’s "Who Shot Rock" exhibition which has been on tour since departing from the Brooklyn Museum many months ago. Check out the show at THE AKRON ART MUSEUM where it will be through January 23rd, 2011.
Watch the PBS INTERVIEW with Barrie and some of the other featured photographers and contributors to this acclaimed exhibition. The exhibit will be going on to the Columbia Museum of Art in February of 2011. Stay tuned.
